Zero dosage: French Champagne sugar-free

French champagne pionier Ayala just introduced a sugar-free version of original French champagne. The new Ayala no-sugar brand is called Cuvée Rosé Nature and is a pink champagne with absolutely zero sugar. A standard bottle of French champagne runs around 530 calories, the latest low-calorie, low-sugar option from Ayala will be only around 390 calories. The bottle will sell for around $80 each.
The secret lays in the missing liquefied sugar, the so-called dosage, which is typically added to champagne before bottling to better balance the flavor. According to Ayala, a subsidiary to U.S. based Bollinger, the newest rosé is designed to especially appeal to women looking for low-calerie alternative.

Hyundai Deluxe to take on Mercedes, BMW, Lexus
According to news wire service Emfis, South Korea’s largest car manufacturer Hyundai Motor will conquer the luxury car market with a new model called Hyundai Genesis. The latest status symbol a Hyundai? Seems like a ridiculous attempt, especially in the European and North American markets where Mercedes, BMW and Lexus have held the top spots in terms of prestige for years now. Hyundai simply does not have the image, design or technology to appeal to the Mercedes & Lexus clientel. Plus, the estimated street price for the LuxHyundai is below $35.000. No way a status symbol on wheels can be that cheap! Anyway, a concept study of Hyundai’s new top-of-the-line model Genesis has recently been shown at a car show in the U.S. and will be available later this year.
