In case a standard Mercedes is not exclusive enough for you, you might wanna consider buying a Mercedes tuned by AMG. The world famous engineering and tuning company located in a little sleepy town around 30 minutes outside of DaimlerChrysler’s headquarters in Stuttgart, Germany, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year and just announced two special edition AMG Mercedes’. First: A CLK 63 “Black Edition”, inspired by the safety cars at Formula 1 races. Secondly: A new CL 65 AMG, the most powerful and most expensive Merceded car ever built.
The CL features a 6.0 liters V12 Twin turbo engine with 612 Horse Powers and 1000 Nm. The CLK is powered by an AMG-built V8 engine with 6.2 liters with 507 PS and 630 Nm. Maximum speeds: CL up to 250 km/h, the CLK is capable of 300 km/h, which equals 187 mph! This much power and speed have its price: The CL 65 AMG is expected to cost around 270.000 Euros, the little brother CLK 63 AMG “Black Series” will be cheaper and should cost around 140.000 Euros.
